Advance permission is not necessary to link to www.kctcs.edu or any KCTCS college website that links to internal college websites. Be aware that college subpages may change or be deleted at any time without notice. Individuals linking to college websites are encouraged to verify link accuracy periodically.

Any link to KCTCS websites should be a full link that takes the user to the appropriate page on the website. The "back" button should return the visitor to the original site if the visitor wishes to back out.

College webmasters may choose to link to external websites that will provide a service to our visitors. The external website's content must be appropriate to the purposes of KCTCS. Links to commercial sites which charge a fee for products or services online are subject to review by the web services peer team.

Linking to an external website does not constitute an endorsement of the content, viewpoint, accuracy, opinions, policies, products, services, or accessibility of the site. Any mention of Suppliers, products, or services is for informational purposes only. College webmasters reserve the right to remove links to external sites if they are inaccurate, inactive, or inappropriate.

KCTCS does not enter into reciprocal linking agreements although we provide links to sites that are appropriate to our mission and goals. Our creation of a link to a site does not obligate that sites owner to provide a link back to KCTCS or any KCTCS college..

Instances when a college is in a partnership with another organization or institution and would like to link to that organizations or institutions website they may do so by following external linking procedures. They may also include a logo or other image as approved by the organization or institutions being linked to.

Upon leaving a college website and linking to an external site, the policies governing the college website no longer apply and users are subject to the external site's policies. All links to external sites should open in a new window. Questions and concerns regarding the information or services provided by a linked site must be directed to the individual responsible for that site, rather than to KCTCS webmasters.
