Leadership
The Kentucky Community and Technical College is led by a system president and cabinet that includes vice presidents who oversee specific areas: Academics and Student Success, Administrative Services, Technology Solutions, General Counsel, Workforce and Economic Development, Human Resources, Communications and Strategy and Chief of Staff.
Each college has a president, leadership team and local board as well. The college presidents along with the cabinet comprise the KCTCS President’s Leadership Team.
KCTCS is governed by a Board of Regents, the majority of whom are appointed by the Kentucky governor. The board provides oversight of issues such as tuition and budget approval, new programs and credential approval as well as the selection and yearly evaluation of the system president.
