Bridget Canter

Bridget Canter is a seasoned human resources professional who has been a part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) family for over a decade. As the Vice President of Human Resources at KCTCS, Canter brings her extensive experience in business affairs and human resources to the forefront of the institution’s operations.

Her journey with KCTCS began at West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC), where she served in various roles since 2006, including Director of Human Resources and later as Vice President of Business Affairs and Human Resources. Her commitment to the mission of KCTCS is evident in her dedication to improving the lives of Kentuckians through education and workforce development.

Canter’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. Her expertise in human resources is not just limited to educational institutions; her skills and knowledge are broad and adaptable to various organizational needs.

In January, Canter stepped into the role of acting Vice President of Human Resources at KCTCS, before being officially named as Vice President. She is known for her leadership in supporting the talented individuals across the state who work tirelessly to help students achieve their academic, career, and personal goals.
