KCTCS HRPP Research Modification Form

NOTE:  All KCTCS campuses and offices will be CLOSED from Monday, December 23rd through Friday, January 3rd. The KCTCS Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) will resume accepting submissions and conducting research proposal reviews when KCTCS reopens on Monday, January 6th.

If you wish to modify a research protocol that has already been approved or exempted by the KCTCS HRPP, those modifications must be approved by the HRPP prior to implementation. These modifications can include changes to research site(s), population(s) involved, changes to research design or instrumentation, and so on.

If you wish to modify a research protocol that was previously approved or exempted by an IRB external to KCTCS, and that has been accepted by the KCTCS HRPP, please seek initial modification approval from the external IRB. You may then submit their modification review determination here with details on proposed modifications. HRPP staff will then review the external IRB’s decision.
