Kentucky Education to Workforce GIS Application

user interface

The Kentucky Education to Workforce GIS Application is an online data system that allows users to explore networks and trends in education and workforce alignment. The application was created by KCTCS in partnership with the American Institutes for Research, Education Strategy Group, and state partners at the Council on Postsecondary Education, Kentucky Department of Education, Kentucky Center for Statistics, Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board, and Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center. The project was developed through funding by the James Graham Brown Foundation with support from the KCTCS Foundation

The application allows users to explore industry-specific trends in graduates, jobs, wages, and education-to-industry alignment. Additionally, the system visualizes secondary to postsecondary matriculation networks, dual credit/dual enrollment matriculation networks, and networks of institutions by industry-specific programs.
