KCTCS adds newsroom to website

Versailles, Ky. – An addition to the Kentucky Community and Technical College System’s (KCTCS) website is aimed at journalists. KCTCS added a Newsroom to its website so journalists and other visitors can easily access information in one place.

“A Newsroom is the number one thing journalists have told us they wanted,” KCTCS Communication Director Mary Hemlepp said. “This is the first phase so we will continue to add content and are open to journalists’ input on additions or improvements.”
KCTCS invites reporters to review the Subject Matter Experts section when looking for sources for story background information or interviews. Newsrooms and subject matter expert listings will be added to each of the 16 colleges’ websites soon. Until that time, reporters are encouraged to reach out to college public relations contacts to locate a good resource for potential stories.
