KCTCS Names Vice President of Talent, Inclusion and Workforce Culture

Lin Hillis, SPHR, has been named vice president of talent, inclusion and workforce culture at the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS).

Hillis will be responsible for planning, developing, directing and implementing system-wide initiatives to promote inclusion, diversity and pluralism in 16 KCTCS colleges and the System Office. Her focus also will include strategies for retaining and recruiting top notch talent to enhance the culture of KCTCS.

Most recently, Hillis served as associate vice president of talent, diversity and leadership at The Ohio State University where she was hired to lead the talent Center of Excellence, a team of more than 100 employees responsible for talent solutions across Ohio State and the Wexner Medical Center. Prior to that she was senior vice president of talent management – leadership development at Huntington Bank. She has held similar positions in the financial and insurance industry.

Hillis earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and a master’s degree in human resources development from Ohio State.

She begins her new role at KCTCS on July 11.
