Versailles, Ky. – Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) Vice President and Chief Information Officer Paul Czarapata was inducted into the Higher Education User Group (HEUG) Hall Of Fame (HOF) at their annual Alliance user conference on March 3.

HEUG is a global nonprofit organization whose mission is “to facilitate sharing of ideas, information and experiences among its members, and to provide a unified and effective voice to the Oracle Corporation on all issues involving the use of Oracle application software in the higher education industry."

The criteria to be inducted into the HEUG HOF include four primary areas:

  1. Demonstrated leadership in important initiatives that advance the HEUG
  2. Outstanding service to HEUG membership
  3. Respected as a professional by those inside the higher education industry
  4. Sustained contribution to the HEUG

Since 2001, Czarapata has served in various roles on product advisory groups and on the HEUG board of directors as vice president of Product from 2009-2012.

HEUG represents over 900 campuses and more than 25,000 individuals from 29 countries on six continents, making it the largest independent industry-specific Oracle User Group in the world.
