The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) is partnering with the University of Kentucky (UK) to host the third annual Supplier Diversity Fair on October 1, from 2 to 5 p.m. (EST). The event is free and will be held at the Pritchard Community Center, located at 404 S. Mulberry Street in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned and differently-abled businesses interested in potential business opportunities with KCTCS and UK are invited to exhibit and/or attend the event.

This event offers opportunities to diverse suppliers that want to do business with both of our organizations within the communities we serve, said KCTCS System Director of Business Services Vikki Parman.

The KCTCS/UK Supplier Diversity Fair is a matchmaking event that allows diverse suppliers to meet face-to-face with representatives from all of KCTCS 16 colleges, the KCTCS System Office, and buyers from UK. Buyers and officials from other organizations include: Commerce-Lexington, Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, Small Business Administration, Toyota and many more.

Last years Supplier Diversity event was attended by more than 300 guests, with 100 booths for diverse suppliers.

Registration/exhibit space is free, but extremely limited. Registrations will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis. For additional information on this event, please contact KCTCS Procurement Manager Brenda Nolan at (859) 256-3325. To register your business, visit kctcs.edu/fairregistration.
