Dr. Gloria McCall

Dr. Gloria S. McCall serves as Vice President of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.  She has over 30 years of experience in community college higher education.  

She received her bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from South Carolina University, her master's in Education from Western Kentucky University, and her doctorate in Education, Adult and Community College, from North Carolina State University.  After completing her undergraduate training, she held a number of positions in both the academic and business worlds affording her diverse and unique experiences with the public.

In May of 2006, she was recruited from Cuyahoga Community College, Cleveland, Ohio and hired by the President of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System in Versailles, as Vice Chancellor to lead and coordinate state wide areas of student services, global studies, enrollment management, student financial aid, transfer/dual credit and developmental education and cultural diversity and inclusion.  In addition, she led special projects under the leadership of the Chancellor.

In 2013, Dr. McCall was promoted to serve on the President’s Executive Leadership Cabinet for KCTCS. In this role as Vice President, Dr. McCall helps to shape governing policies and procedures that impact the lives and thousands of Kentuckians across the Commonwealth.  She provides leadership and service and support to all KCTCS colleges.

She and her husband reside in Lexington, Kentucky. They spend most vacations visiting their grandchildren in Atlanta, Georgia and South Carolina.
